The Ministry of Health launches a free campaign to treat cataracts

The Ministry of Health has launched a free surgical campaign to treat cataracts, implemented by an Arab medical delegation.

The ministry explained in a statement today that the campaign aims to provide free diagnostic and surgical medical care to the most needy patients in the Damascus and Aleppo governorates.

The operations will carried out in Damascus Governorate at Damascus Hospital (Al-Mujtahid) from May 18 to 23, and in Aleppo Governorate at Muhammad Wassim Maar Hospital in Azaz from May 25 to 30.

The Ministry stated that registered patients, who have been invited by the campaign organizing team, will be accepted within the date and time specified in the invitation.
