Suwayda Governor: The agreement approved by Druze leaders remains valid

Suwayda Governor Mustafa Al-Bakour has declared that some amendments have been made to agreement with Druze leaders in response to requests from some parties to facilitate and expedite the process of restoring security and stability to the province.

The governor focused on the following points:

📌The agreement which was signed yesterday and approved by the Sheikhs Al- Aql in Suwayda province remains valid and its provisions will be implemented successively.

📌 Some amendments to the agreement’s provisions have been made in response to requests from some parties to facilitate and expedite the process of restoring security and stability to the province.

📌 The Syrian state’s efforts to resolve the problems in Suwayda province have not stopped.

📌 We are about to reap the fruits of the tireless work of the previous period.

📌 The Druze community is part of the authentic Syrian social fabric.

📌 We have all seen the statement of the Sheikhs of Al-Aql in which they rejected foreign interference.
