Syrian citizens: We are an integrated fabric and we do not need anyone’s protection

HOMS, MAY.3, (ST)-The people of Homs affirmed their commitment to Syria’s unity and their rejection of the repeated Israeli attacks, which aim to create chaos, destabilize the country and prevent its renaissance.

Speaking to the correspondent of the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), citizen Abdul Basit al-Hindi said that the repeated Israeli attacks reflect the state of confusion experienced by the occupying entity and its fear of a strong Syria.

He stressed that the Syrian people will not go back and will remain united with their state. “We, as Syrians, have never been sectarians and will continue to live in our country as one people.”

Another citizen, Imad Hosni, said, “The unity of Syrian territory is a red line. We, as Syrians, are not weak. We can build Syria. The Syrian people, with all their diversity, are free and strong.”

Lawyer Faisal al-Hakim called on all citizens to be aware, because we are an integrated fabric and do not need anyone’s protection.

Hakim asserted that Israel’s attacks on Syrian sovereignty are a violation of all international conventions and laws. Israel can be held accountable under the Security Council and international law.

For his part, citizen Muhammad Hamdan called on the United Nations and the Arab League to put an end to Israeli violations of Syrian territory and to the People’s Palace, which has been returned to the Syrian people after having been in the hands of a criminal regime.

He pointed out that Syria was and will remain for all its people, with all its components.

Citizen Nidal Dawoud called on the world to stand with the Syrian state against Israeli attacks that aim to destroy Syria and prevent its renaissance and development. He also appealed to wise and religious figures to raise awareness and stand against all forms of mobilization and incitement on social media.

Daoud also called on Syrians to stand united, work to rebuild what the former regime destroyed in all areas of life, and block the path of anyone who attempts to undermine our unity.
