Iraq and Kuwait strongly condemn the Israeli assault on Damascus

The Iraqi and Kuwaiti Ministries of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the Israeli airstrike that targeted the vicinity of the presidential palace in Damascus. They affirmed their unqualified rejection of the repeated Israeli aggressions that violate Syria’s sovereignty and threaten its stability.

They stressed that Justifying such attacks under security pretexts does not give legitimacy to any violation of the sovereignty of states.”
They called on the international community to shoulder its legal and humanitarian responsibilities to stop the crimes of the Israeli occupation in the countries of the region, reiterating the steadfast position of their states in support of the unity of Syria and its territorial integrity.”
