Minister of Information: Confrontating incitement and hate speech is the responsibility of everyone

Minister of Information Hamza Al -Mustafa affirmed that Syria needs an expanded ethics code, which is shared by media institutions, unions, and different social forces, to gain its symbolic value, before the state approved it as a legal reference to control media and political discourse, and clarify the boundaries between freedom of expression that should be guaranteed, and chaos.

Minister Al -Mustafa posted on X: The confrontation of incitement and hate speech and societal polarization is the responsibility of everyone in the state building stage.

He stressed that the Ministry of Information will play its role in this regard through various strategies and tools that will see the light soon.

Minister Al -Mustafa considered that freedom is a great value, the Syrians have paid exorbitant prices to obtain, and it is, at the same time, a responsibility in thought and practice.
