Syria Thanks Qatar and Saudi Arabia for Their Support in Paying International Bank Debts

The Syrian Arab Republic expressed its gratitude and appreciation to the State of Qatar and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for their kind initiative to assist in the payment of Syria’s outstanding financial obligations to the International Bank, amounting to a total of 15 million US dollars.

This step reflects the continued solidarity with the Syrian people, easing economic pressures, and opening the door for further cooperation with international financial institutions. It also serves as a key move to revitalize economic growth, reconstruction efforts, and recovery paths.

Syria affirms that Arab cooperation is the most effective way to face regional challenges. The country aims to further strengthen its relations with its brothers in Qatar and Saudi Arabia, as well as to make joint efforts that align with the interests of the peoples and contribute to regional stability.
