Ministry of Defense: Hezbollah militias fire artillery shells towards Syrian Army positions

A source in the Ministry of Defense said:

– Lebanese Hezbollah militias fired several artillery shells from Lebanese territory towards Syrian Arab Army positions in the Al-Qusayr area, west of Homs.

– Our forces immediately targeted the sources of fire, after observing the locations from which the rockets, which numbered 5, had been fired.

– We are in contact with the Lebanese Army to assess the incident, and we have halted targeting sources of fire inside Lebanese territory at the request of the Lebanese Army, after it undertook to task of combing the area and pursuing the terrorist groups responsible for targeting Syrian territory.
