Syrian-Turkish talks to enhance cooperation in the areas of organizing civil work in Syria

Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Hind Qabbawate discussed with the Turkish Chargé d’Affaires in Syria, Burhan Koroglu, issues related to women protection and empowerment, and the organization of civil society work in Syria.

The meeting, held at the ministry building today, focused on Turkey’s experience in humanitarian work and the possibility of organizing joint workshops to exchange expertise.

Minister Qabbawate pointed to the depth of historical relations between Syria and Turkey and the strong ties between the two peoples.

In turn, the Turkish Chargé d’Affaires in Syria affirmed Turkey’s support for the transitional phase in Syria, in accordance with the directives of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
