Al-Shaibani thanks Arab League Council for adopting resolution supporting the Syrian government

Following his participation in the ordinary ministerial meeting of the Arab League (AL) Council, Foreign Minister Asaad Al-Shaibani said in a post on X: “I extend my sincere thanks to the Foreign Ministers, His Excellency the AL Secretary-General, and his esteemed Assistant Secretary-General for their support and adoption of the resolution supporting the Syrian government at the Council of the League of Arab States.”

“Unifying the Arab ranks and supporting our brotherly nations is what we need at this critical juncture. My sincere appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of this resolution,” al-Shaibani added.

“I also congratulate my brother Ayman Safadi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, on assuming the presidency of the current session. We wish him success in his duties,” he also said.
