Lavrov and Pederson discuss Developments in Syria

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov discussed with the UN Special Envoy for Syria Geir Pedersen the developments in Syria and the importance of advancing the Syrian-led political transition process with the support of the United Nations.

Lavrov and Pedersen emphasized the need to preserve and respect Syria’s sovereignty, unity, independence and territorial integrity.
