Minister of Tourism Reviews the Work situation at the Central Handicrafts Incubator in Dummar

Minister of Tourism Mazen Al-Salhani conducted an inspection tour today of the Central Handicrafts Incubator in Dummar in Damascus , to review the status of traditional crafts and professions it hosts, and to support the identity of artisans and their working mechanisms within the incubator.

During the tour, Minister Al-Salhani reviewed the work in various sections of the incubator, including Phoenician hand-blown glass, leatherwork, wooden mosaic, Arabic calligraphy, copper embossing, extraction of aromatic and herbal oils, traditional Arabic carpentry, musical instruments, the conference hall, and vocational training academies.

Minister Al-Salhani emphasized that the Ministry is committed to supporting the incubator and the traditional and artisanal professions it embraces, as well as helping artisans promote their products by facilitating their participation in local and international exhibitions.
