80 humanitarian organizations stress that Israeli attacks on Syria hinder recovery efforts

AMMAN, Apr.19, (ST)-Eighty humanitarian organizations have appealed to the international community to put an end to Israeli attacks on Syrian territory, stressing that the recent military incursion by the Israeli occupation entity is causing severe harm to civilians and hindering recovery efforts.

In a statement issued in Amman, the international organizations said: “The Israeli attacks and ground incursion into Syrian territory constitute a clear violation of the Disengagement Agreement and a violation of the fundamental principles of the UN Charter.”

They added hat these Israeli actions directly undermine humanitarian activities, recovery, reconstruction, and stability efforts at a critical stage for the Syrian people.

The organizations called on all international parties to fulfill their obligations under international humanitarian law and take immediate and coordinated action to halt Israeli attacks, prevent further escalation, and ensure accountability for violations.
