President Ahmad al-Sharaa is on the 2025 TIME 100 List of most influential people

The Time magazine has named President Ahmad al-Sharaa one of the 100 most influential people of 2025.

In an article published Wednesday, the Time magazine said that “President al-Sharaa, along with the revolutionaries, overthrew the brutal government of Bashar al-Assad,” adding that “President al-Sharaa, the interim president of all of Syria, is making balance between the hardliners, he once led, and the liberal Syrians who were relieved by Assad’s departure.”

The article also noted that the president “sought to reassure minorities and to defeat Assad, the ambitious man realized he had to become a political leader besides being a military leader.”
