Arab League calls on Arab organizations to support reconstruction projects in Syria and Gaza

The Secretary -General of the League of Arab States Ahmed Aboul Gheit today called on joint Arab organizations and institutions to strengthen reconstruction projects in Syria and Gaza Strip, and to provide possible support in this framework.

 

The Al -Ahram Gate website quoted Aboul Gheit, as saying in a speech during the opening of the “57” session of the Higher Coordination Committee for joint Arab action in Tunisia: I was directed to make the issue of the role of joint Arab action organizations and institutions in supporting post -conflict countries, and strengthening projects of reconstructing Syria and Gaza Strip, at the forefront of the agenda of these meetings.
