Israeli occupation forces continue their aggression against towns and cities in the West Bank

Wafa News Agency reported that the Israeli occupation forces continued their massacres in Gaza Strip today, targeting the only field hospital in the Mawasi area of Khan Yunis in the south, and shelling several areas in the east, west, and center of the Gaza Strip, killing and wounding dozens.

In the West Bank, occupation forces raided the cities of Salfit, Qabatiya, and Ramallah, detaining dozens of Palestinian youths after storming their homes and destroying their contents.

In the city of Tulkarm and its refugee camp, the Israeli occupation forces continue their aggression for the 80th day and for the 67th day in the Nur Shams refugee camp, amid ongoing escalation in the field, raids, and detentions.

On Wednesday, Tulkarm, its refugee camps, and its suburbs witnessed a heavy deployment of Israeli military vehicles and infantry units, accompanied by raids and searches in several neighborhoods, amid heavy gunfire and sound bombs.

WAFA reported that infantry units were deployed in the Jabal al-Muwazafin housing area in the Aktaba suburb, opposite Nour Shams camp, amid extensive combing operations. A massive explosion and heavy gunfire were heard.

Israeli forces also raided the al-Qaisi and al-Huda gas station in al-Salam neighborhood, east of the city, and detained a number of young Palestinians there. They were searched and their IDs were checked.

The military deployment extended to the Dhnaba suburb and the road connecting it to the town of Kafr al-Labad to the east. These forces fired sound bombs and arrested a number of Palestinians.

Israeli forces patrolled several neighborhoods within the city, most notably: Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital Street, the center of the vegetable market, the eastern neighborhood, Nablus Street, and Courts Street, where they obstructed vehicle traffic and prevented them from passing on many occasions.

In addition, in recent days, the occupation forces have escalated their forced displacement campaigns against residents of the Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps, Nablus Street, and the traffic circle surrounding the city’s northern neighborhood. Following threats and intimidation, Palestinian residents were forced to evacuate their homes, given a short period of time to collect their belongings, and then turned the homes into military barracks.

At the same time, Nablus Street, which connects the Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps, has witnessed a heavy deployment of occupation forces, restricting Palestinians’ movement on the road. The road has been closed with earth mounds in both directions, and roadblocks have been erected along the road, preventing vehicles from passing.

The ongoing Israeli aggression and escalation against the city of Tulkarm and its two camps have resulted in the deaths of 13 Palestinian citizens, including a child and two women, one of whom was eight months pregnant. Dozens have also been injured and detained.

It also resulted in the forced displacement of more than 4,000 families from the Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps, along with hundreds of citizens from the city’s northern neighborhood after their homes were seized and a number of them turned into military barracks.
