WHO: attacks on healthcare facilities in Gaza must stop immediately

The World Health Organization WHO said that “Al-Ahli” Hospital in Gaza is out of service after an evacuation order and a morning attack today.

It added a child has died due to the disruption of healthcare there , and the emergency room and laboratory were destroyed.

WHO pointed out that 50 patients were transferred to other hospitals, while 40 others in critical condition could not be evacuated.

It indicated that hospitals are protected under international humanitarian law, and attacks on healthcare facilities in Gaza must stop immediately.

WHO stressed that patients, healthcare workers, and hospitals must be protected, the blockade on aid must be lifted, and a ceasefire in Gaza must be implemented.
