An agreement reached to activate the Libyan-Syrian Joint High Committee

TRIPOLI, Apr.12, (ST)-The Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dabaiba has affirmed his country’s continued support for the Syrian people, which will enhance efforts to achieve peace and stability in Syria.

The Libyan News Agency reported that Dabaiba, during a meeting with President Ahmad Al-Sharaa yesterday at the Antalya Diplomatic Forum 2025 in Turkey, stressed Libya’s firm support for Syria.

It was also noted that an agreement was reached to activate the Libyan-Syrian Joint High Committee to enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields and regulate the status of Syrian residents in Libya.
