Jordan warns against Israeli attempts to expand regionally at the expense of Arab countries

ANKARA, Apr.12, (ST)-Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi has warned against the increasing Israeli escalation and its attempts to expand regionally at the expense of Arab countries.

Speaking at the Antalya Diplomatic Forum 2025 in Turkey, Anadolu Agency quoted Safadi as saying, “If you look at Israel’s policies across the region, from Gaza to the West Bank, Lebanon, and Syria, we see a pattern of escalation under false pretexts to achieve a strategic goal of regional expansion at the expense of neighboring Arab countries.”

Safadi warned that the future of the region cannot be left hostage to the ideology of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
