Syria’s Representative at Security Council calls on international community to support Syria’s stability

Syria’s representative to the Security Council Qusay Al-Dahhak condemned the escalation of the Israeli occupation in Syria and called on the international community to support the country’s stability.

He affirmed that the majority of member states affirmed the need to support Syria and its Syrian people at this sensitive stage in their present and future.

He condemned the crimes of the Israeli occupation, which included hundreds of airstrikes, the destruction of infrastructure, and the undermining of peace efforts.

Al-Dahhak pointed out that the occupying army had penetrated Syrian territory, destroyed roads, disrupted water and internet services, and occupied some buildings in Quneitra.

He noted that the international community emphasized the need for concerted efforts to end the suffering of the Syrian people and support Syria’s stability and security.

Al-Dahhak affirmed that supporting Syria’s security would have a positive impact on the region.
