The Netherlands suspends exports to Israel.. The African Union expels the Israeli ambassador.. Mass demonstrations in support of Gaza

Today, numerous capitals witnessed rallies and marches in solidarity with the Palestinian people, condemning the massacres and acts of extermination committed by the Israeli occupation.

In a significant move, the African Union announced the expulsion of Israeli ambassador Abraham Ngus from Mandela Hall at its headquarters in Addis Ababa, following his invitation to an annual meeting on the genocide in Rwanda, which several African countries refused to allow him to attend. The organization is currently investigating who sent him the invitation. Meanwhile, the head of the Israeli government had to alter his travel plans to Washington due to concerns about possible arrest under an International Criminal Court warrant related to war crimes in Gaza.

In addition, the Dutch government has tightened restrictions on the export of all military products and dual-use goods (civilian and military) destined for Israel.

In parallel, mass vigils and marches have been taking place in Arab and international cities, showing solidarity with the Palestinian people and condemning the ongoing aggression against Gaza, which has continued for over a year and a half.

This flow of protests is part of a global movement initiated by activists under the hashtag “A Global Strike in Support of Gaza.”

In Syria, citizens participated in popular vigils and marches in Damascus, as well as in Aleppo, Hama, Homs, and Latakia, calling for an end to the violence perpetrated by the Israeli occupation. They demanded global awareness of the atrocities occurring and urged restraint from the occupiers.

Countries such as Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Kuwait, Jordan, and Lebanon also witnessed demonstrations, with participants demanding urgent action to stop the aggression and massacres against the Palestinian people in Gaza.

In Europe, several demonstrations were held in support of the Palestinian cause, denouncing the crimes in Gaza as some of the most heinous forms of racism. Protesters criticized the silence of the international community and voiced their support for Gaza.

In Turkey, Britain, Canada, the United States, and Bangladesh, demonstrators raised banners and chanted slogans rejecting the ongoing war of extermination.

In France, marchers carried the message “Silence is not an option” in response to the violence in Gaza.
