Spain welcomes the formation of the Syrian government
The Spanish government welcomed the announcement of the formation of the new Syrian government.
The Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement on its official website: “Spain welcomes the new transitional government in Syria, which represents a step forward toward a peaceful and inclusive Syria that guarantees the country’s unity and territorial integrity.”
The Spanish government also promised to continue its support for the Syrian people and to continue coordination with European partners and countries in the region, to contribute to achieving stability in Syria and peace in the Middle East.”
