The Elysee announced today that French President Emmanuel Macron who will receive his Lebanese counterpart Joseph Aoun in Paris tomorrow, Friday and will also hold a “tripartite meeting” with him and Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa, who will join them “remotely.”
The French presidency told reporters, “it will be an opportunity for the three presidents to discuss security on the Syrian-Lebanese border,” where “tensions have led to clashes,” stressing the need to “restore the sovereignty of Lebanon and Syria.”
