Qatar condemns the bombing of the Israeli occupation of the town of Koya, west of Daraa

The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned in the strongest terms the Israeli occupation forces’ bombing of the town of Koya, west of Daraa, which resulted in the martyrdom of several people and the injury of others.

The ministry stressed that this dangerous escalation is a blatant violation of international law.

In a statement posted on its website, the ministry warned that the ongoing attacks by the Israeli occupation on Syria and Lebanon, and the continued brutal war on Gaza, would widen the circle of violence in the region.

It called on the international community to pressure the occupation to comply with international legitimacy resolutions.

The Ministry renewed Qatar’s full support for Syria’s sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity, and for the aspirations of the brotherly Syrian people for security and stability.
