Governor of Aleppo al-Gharib …Nowruz is a message of love and peace that confirms the unity of Syria’s Sons

Aleppo governor Azzam al-Gharib congratulated the Kurds in Syria, especially the residents of Aleppo governorate on the occasion of Nowruz celebrations, saying: “this day reflects the values of freedom, renewal and hope.  Throughout history, Syria has been a model of coexistence between all its components, where diverse cultures and identities have blended into a single fabric that depicts the story of the ancient state that brought us together in the past, and will continue to bring us together in the future”.

He went on to say : “the defunct regime has sought to tamper with this fabric, to damage the unity of the Syrian people and weaken the historical ties between the components of society. But the will of the people was stronger than the attempts to divide, as we have lived together over the centuries, together we will build a future of justice, solidarity and mutual respect. ”

“Your celebration today is a message of love and peace. It affirms that the unity of the people of Syria, with all their diverse backgrounds, is the foundation for building the new state.  We believe that you will be an active part in its renaissance, because Syria can only prosper by the solidarity of its people. ” He concluded.
