Saudi Arabia and Muslim World League condemn Israeli attacks on Syrian territory

The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Saudi Arabia’s condemnation of the Israeli occupation forces’ bombing of Syrian areas, in flagrant violation of international law.

The ministry said in a statement on its official account on (X) platform: “the Kingdom condemns Israeli attempts to destabilize the security and stability of Syria and the region through these repeated violations, which violate relevant international agreements and laws.”

The ministry added: “The Kingdom stresses the need for the international community to stand up to these attacks, and affirms the importance of the Security Council member states fulfilling their role, standing firmly and seriously against these ongoing Israeli attacks and violations in Syria, preventing the expansion of the conflict, and activating international accountability mechanisms for these violations.”

The ministry reiterated its solidarity with the Syrian government and people.

For its part, the Muslim World League condemned the Israeli occupation forces’ bombing of Syrian territories.
In a statement, the Secretary General of the League and Chairman of the Muslim Scholars Association, Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa denounced this barbaric Israeli approach in violating international laws and norms and destabilizing security and stability in the region.

He called on the international community to take immediate and decisive action against these
dangerous violations.
Hr affirmed full solidarity with Syria and its people against all threats to its security, stability, territorial sovereignty and unity.
