Arab, international media attach great importance to Syrians’ joy over celebrating the 14 anniversary of Syrian revolution

DAMASCUS, Mar.15, (ST)- The celebration of the 14th anniversary of the Syrian revolution has been widely covered by Arab and international media, as well as numerous social media platforms, with the aim of conveying and documenting this historic moment, the first celebration by the Syrian people of the anniversary of the start of their revolution after the fall of the tyrant Bashar al-Assad’s regime.

Al Jazeera correspondent Abdullah al-Hajj confirmed the keenness to share with the Syrian people this great celebration by covering it and presenting it to the world, conveying the image of overwhelming joy on the faces of the participants. “Previously, people had been subjected to bombing and barrel bombs, while today we witness the same aircraft dropping flowers”

He noted that what was a dream before December 8 has now become a reality,

Adham Azjan from the Turkish Anadolu Agency considered his presence today in Umayyad Square not only to cover these historic moments, but also to celebrate with the Syrians the victory of their revolution.

He added that the agency has been keen to experience and monitor the Syrian revolution from its first day until liberation. “ Toda, we broadcast these beautiful scenes from the square, where citizens of all segments gathered in a wonderful atmosphere accompanied by the roar of planes dropping flowers.”

Alan Haj Ahmed, a reporter from the Euphrates News Agency, said that his coverage of the event is part of his celebration of this day, on which Syrians declared their rejection of tyrants and criminals.

He indicated that everyone he met today during his coverage of the event emphasized the importance of unity, rejecting sectarianism, and promoting justice and equality.

For his part, TRT correspondent Alaa Eddin Gachar emphasized his channel’s commitment to covering this historic event, just as it has covered the Syrian revolution since 2011.

He pointed out that during its coverage of the Syrian events, his channel did not merely transmit news for the sake of reporting, but rather placed a significant emphasis on the humanitarian aspect, conveying the suffering of Syrians in various regions.
