Thirty new investors have joined the Hasiya Industrial City in Homs since the liberation, working in various industrial sectors.

Talal Zaib, director of the Hasiya Industrial City, explained that the industrial city has attracted numerous local, Arab, and foreign businessmen, as well as delegations of foreign companies from Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Lebanon, who have explored ways to establish investments there.

He indicated that the total number of investors in the industrial city has currently reached 1,032, across various industries.

Zaib pointed out that 508 craft plots have been implemented, including engineering, textile, and food industries, in the city’s craft zone, while 353 plots have been subscribed and allocated.

Zaib pointed to simplifying procedures and transactions for investors, such as electronic payments and other services, in addition to working to amend and develop the investment system, allowing investors and industrialists to deal in foreign currency, and granting customs exemptions on imported machinery entering industrial cities.
