Thwarting an attack by remnants of former regime against a military barracks in Lattakia countryside

A Defense Ministry source told SANA that a group of remnants of the former regime attempted to attack a military barracks in Lattakia countryside.

The source said that after clashes with the group, the barrack guards managed to thwart the attack and arrest four of the attackers.
