The rule of law is the only guarantee for achieving justice, says Director of the Public Security Department in Lattakia

LATTAKIA, Mar.8, (ST)-Director of the Public Security Department in Lattakia governorate, Lieutenant Colonel Mustafa Knefati has affirmed the department’s full commitment to protecting civil peace and ensuring the security of all citizens, and there will be no leniency in this principle.

He declared today: “We are pursuing the remnants of the ousted regime and its officers and we will not allow any acts of revenge under any circumstances. We will hold accountable anyone proven to be involved in the attacks, whether they are remnants of the regime or thieves and those who tamper with security, and we will take all legal measures against them.”

Knefati went on to say: “We will not allow sedition to be fomented or targeting any component of the Syrian people…. The rule of law is the only guarantee for achieving justice.”

He called on citizens not to be drawn into any provocative calls, and to leave the matter to the competent institutions. “

“The security services are continuing to pursue the killers and remnants of the ousted Assad regime, and will deal firmly with anyone who threatens security and stability.” Knefati said
