Foreign Minister Assad Al-Shibani confirmed the commitment of the new Syrian authorities to cooperate with the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) to eliminate the chemical weapons program of the former regime

Director General of the OPCW welcomed Syria’s commitment to transparency and cooperation

Technical experts from the OPCW will be deployed in Damascus in the coming days.
