Shaaban: National Reconciliation is the Proper Solution for the Syrians

DAMASCUS,(ST)_ Political and Media Advisor at the Syrian Presidency Dr. Boutheina Shaaban stressed that national reconciliation in Syria is the key and proper solution between the Syrians as, reflecting the pulse of the street and creating a sense of relief and confidence.

Shaaban said in an interview with Al-Manar TV yesterday that all the Syrians are winners in national reconciliations because they will make the blood of the martyrs the most expensive, and lead Syria to peace and security, noting that the Syrians want to look forward rather than backward and that the presidential elections is a constitutional requirement and citizens ‘s active participation in it reflects the insistence and continuous  challenge of the terrorist war against the country.

Shaaban added that the situation in Syria is much better than before and the Western countries that are criticizing the conduct of elections and meddling in Syrian internal affairs and supporting terrorists are  not worried about the turnout in the elections but worried about the challenge shown by the Syrian people to enhance their country and achieve victory on the continuous aggression started since more than 3 years.

She indicated that the elections are unrelated to the political process in Geneva because the political solution the US seeks from Geneva is to establish its clients in Syria and have Syria under its geopolitical control, while the political solution Syria seeks is to get rid of terrorism and maintains Syria as a strong state.

Shaaban indicated that constructive opposition is the one that works for its homeland and people, noting that those who claim themselves as foreign opposition, were made in the U.S. intelligence circles, get paid from abroad and stand with Israel.

Shaaban said that the U.S. sees and understands events only with an Israeli eye because the U.S. administration priorities and strategy is to fragment the region for the benefit of Israel, the elimination of the resistance and to create mini- sectarian ethnic states, including the Jewish state.
