Druze Monotheists in Jaramana district issues a statement on the events taking place in the district

DAMASCUS COUNTRYSIDE, Mar.1, (ST)-The Spiritual Authority of the Muslim Druze Monotheists in Jaramana district in Damascus countryside issued the following statement after the eruption of clashes between General Security Forces and armed groups:

The Authority condemns the murder of Ahmed Deeb al-Khatib and the injury of two others.

We asserts the need to uncover those who were involved in the conflict and delivered to justice.

We also underlines the unity of Jeramana with Damascus and rejection of any attempts to foment sedition.

We calls for an official investigation into the incident of the Salhiya Police Department.

We emphasize our commitment to preserve civil peace and coexistence.
