Securing requirements of the educational process discussed

A committee from the Ministry of Education discussed with representatives of more than 50 international and local organizations working in the education sector means to secure the needs of the educational process in Syria. Discussions focused on the needs of the educational process and the mechanism for providing appropriate support for it, in line with the ministry’s strategies, plans and needs.

The committee answered questions from a number of participants about the mechanism for providing services and support regarding securing the requirements of the examination process for the year 2025. Representatives of organizations and associations expressed their readiness to participate in meeting the needs in terms of building new schools or renovating damaged ones, and working on psychological support activities for educational cadres in schools, in addition to supporting the return of students who have dropped out.

Director of Planning and International Cooperation at the ministry, Youssef Annan, pointed out that there are ongoing plans to support education between the ministry and organizations and associations working in Syria, which aim to unify humanitarian efforts in a way that contributes to enhancing the educational process.
