Jordan and Bahrian welcome the outcomes of the Syrian National Dialogue Conference

Today, the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate welcomed the holding of the Syrian National Dialogue Conference and its outcomes. The ministry noted that the conference is an important step towards rebuilding Syria on strong foundations that guarantee its unity, sovereignty and stability, ensure the continuity of the work of its institutions, and achieve the aspirations of the Syrian people.

The Jordanian News Agency “Petra” reported that the ministry’s official spokesman Sufyan Al-Qudah confirmed Jordan’s support for Syria and its readiness to provide everything he can to the Syrian people in order to overcome the transitional phase to rebuild Syria, the free, stable, and sovereign homeland, through a Syrian-Syrian process in which the various segments of the Syrian people participate and preserve all their rights.

Moreover, the Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that Bahrain described the Syrian National Dialogue Conference as an important step in the process of building the Syrian state on the basis of citizenship, the rule of law, and the consolidation of constitutional institutions.

The Bahrain News Agency reported that the Ministry renewed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s position in support for the security, stability, sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity of Syria, and for restoring Syria’s effective role in its Arab and international environment, in a way that meets the aspirations of the Syrian people towards security, stability, progress and sustainable prosperity.

Several other Arab countries, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kuwait, welcomed the Syrian National Dialogue Conference, stressing support for Syria’s unity, security, independence, and territorial integrity.
