Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said that Netanyahu’s statements on Syria clearly show that he does not support peace and Israel must end its regional expansion under the guise of establishing security.
He added: “We hope that the next steps in the political transition process in Syria will be comprehensive and implemented without allowing the existence of separatist movements”.
National Dialogue Conference is Important for Syria’s Future
Fidan stressed the importance of the Syrian National Dialogue Conference for the future of the country.
He expressed his country’s hope that the conference will bring good to the Syrian people and state.
Fidan said during a press conference with his Georgian counterpart in Ankara today: “This conference will continue in order to determine and direct the future of Syria, and to establish the concept of the state in Syria in order to achieve the welfare of the Syrian people, and we will support the current government in the new phase and the phase of peace.
The Turkish Foreign Minister stressed that the future of Syria is in the hands of its people, and that Turkey sees the dialogue conference that concluded yesterday as an important station in this regard.
