Ministry of Health organizes a meeting with representatives of international organizations
The Ministry of Health on Tuesday organized a meeting with representatives of international organizations, United Nations agencies, and active civil society organizations working in the health sector.
It stressed the need to unify efforts to determine the priorities and needs of the health sector to advance it and improve its services.
During the meeting, which was held at the Center for Strategic Health Studies today, the participants reviewed the work of the Directorate of Drug Control and Pharmaceutical Affairs, Drug Laboratories, and the Directorate of Supply, Ambulance and Emergency in the previous period.
They stressed that the health care system in Syria has witnessed deterioration for a long time, and that many health facilities need to improve their performance.
