The Syrian national basketball team qualified for the Asian Cup finals after its victory over its Bahraini counterpart by 89-87, at the conclusion of the third Asian window matches held in the Qatari capital, Doha.
The Syria team imposed its control from the beginning of the match and the players performed well both individually and collectively.
The coach Haitham Jameel’s substitutions were correct and appropriate, and the team was able to create harmony between performance and result.
The Bahraini team succeeded in reducing the difference in the result to two points, but the Syrian team regained the initiative and snatched the winning points.
