Ministry of Health discusses with the SEMA Organization ways to support hospitals and improve medical services

The Acting Minister of Health, Dr. Maher Al-Sharaa, discussed with a delegation from the Syrian Expatriate Medical Association (SEMA) ways of mutual cooperation and supporting the healthcare sector in Syria. During a meeting held today at the ministry building in Damascus, Dr. Maher Al-Sharaa reviewed the challenges facing the healthcare sector in Syria.

He emphasized the importance of partnership between the ministry and the organization to support hospitals and health centers and improve the quality of medical services provided to patients. For his part, the CEO of the SEMA Organization, Dr. Mohammad Hassan Maghribi, emphasized the importance of allowing the organization’s medical team to assess the provision of healthcare services in hospitals and listen to healthcare providers about the challenges they face to help them overcome these difficulties.

This, he noted, would contribute to delivering optimal services to patients.

He reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to standing by the healthcare sector in Syria to achieve its humanitarian goals of serving citizens and alleviating their suffering.

The Syrian Expatriate Medical Association (SEMA) is a humanitarian, relief, and developmental non-profit medical organization dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare to its beneficiaries.
