Syrian National Dialogue Conference’s Preparatory Committee holds dialogue session in Aleppo

ALEPPO, Feb.22, (ST)- The dialogue session organized by the Preparatory Committee for the Syrian National Dialogue Conference with the citizens of Aleppo Governorate has started.

The participants in the session called for activating the role of civil society organizations, supporting public economic initiatives, enhancing personal and public freedoms, activating political life in Syria, ensuring the participation of all Syrians in political life, forming human rights committees to restore grievances to their owners, and forming judicial bodies to hold accountable all those who committed crimes against the Syrian people.

They also called for benefiting from Syrian human cadres, especially youth, in advancing the country, activating women’s participation in political, economic and social life, caring for children, developing special programs for their development, activating health and medical institutions, especially in the countryside, and caring for population issues.

The participants asserted the importance activating decentralization, especially in economic decisions, and building economic sectors of various kinds.
