Participants in national dialogue held in Quneitra focus on key issues

QUNEITRA, Feb.22, (ST)-Today, the Preparatory Committee for the Syrian National Dialogue Conference held a session with the people of Quneitra Governorate at the Cultural Center in Al-Salam City.

The participants in the session focused on the unity of Syrian territory, the confrontation of the Israeli incursion into a number of villages in the governorate in the buffer zone, the liberation of the entire occupied Syrian Golan, the cancelation of the decision to annex it to the Israeli occupation, and appointment of a governor to manage the affairs of citizens.

They stressed the need to achieve transitional justice, amnesty and tolerance and to establish a committee concerned with the affairs of the people of Quneitra and the Golan and a national army.

Reconsidering educational curricula, achieving justice and economic transparency, ensuring personal freedoms, making the judiciary independent, creating a platform for communication between Syrians, building a new Syria, and accelerating the return of the displaced to their homes were also on the table.

The participants in addition called for attracting investments, reconstructing liberated villages, building housrs for the people of Quneitra and the Golan who are residing in Damascus, its countryside, and Daraa, completing the search for detainees and missing persons and separating the legislative, executive, and judicial authorities.
