Efforts exerted to protect citizens, public and private properties in Aleppo were discussed

ALEPPO, Feb.22, (ST)-Today, the Minister of Interior, Ali Kadda, held talks with the Governor of Aleppo, Azzam Al-Gharib, and a number of senior police officers in the city, over security plans and the necessary measures to enhance stability and protect citizens.

The meeting came within the framework of ongoing efforts to improve security situation in Aleppo, where mechanisms for enhancing cooperation between various security agencies and developing effective strategies to confront security challenges were reviewed, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency ( SANA).

The Minister underscored the importance of concerted efforts being exerted to ensure the safety of citizens and protect public and private properties.

“Protecting Aleppo from any security threats is a top priority,” Kadda said.

local community’s role in supporting security efforts was also on the table, as the governor affirmed the need to strengthen boost between citizens and security forces to achieve the desired goals.

The police chief presented a number of proposals to facilitate work regarding the police departments and Immigration and Passports Department, and the difficulties they face in order to resolve them.
