Defense Minister meets with UNDOF delegation

Minister of Defense, Major General Murhaf Abu Qasra, on Thursday received a delegation from the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF).

A source in the Ministry of Defense said that during his meeting with UNDOF delegation, Maj.Gen. Abu Qasra stressed the necessity of Israel’s withdrawal from the areas it recently occupied. He affirmed the need to strengthen cooperation with the UN forces as to control the “points of contact” on the border with Israel.
