Terrorists Launch Missiles on Aleppo’s Ashrafeyeh Quarter, Blast Motorcycle Near Dar al-Shefa’a Hospital in Damascus
PROVINCES,(ST)_Over the past 48 hours, foreign-backed terrorists have killed at least 18 civilians and wounded 39 others by mortar and missile attacks on Aleppo and Damascus countryside provinces.
According to the official news agency (SANA), the deadliest attack took place today when several missiles hit al-Ashrafeyeh quarter in Aleppo city.
The missile attack, which caused destruction of two houses in the quarter, killed almost 13 civilians and wounded 17 others, a source at Aleppo governorate told the agency’s reporter.
The same quarter [ al-Ashrafeyeh] was struck last night by several missiles where about three civilians were martyred and 20 others wounded.
Two more civilians were martyred and six others wounded yesterday when terrorists detonated an explosive device attached to a motorcycle near Dar al-Shefa’a hospital in the capital [Damascus].
Shell lands near al-Beroni Hospital
Another hospital in Damascus countryside was targeted by terrorist groups today.
The agency said that a shell landed at the entry of the emergency department at al-Beroni hospital in Harasta suburb outside Damascus.
The mortar attack killed a worker at the hospital and left two others wounded and caused damages to several cars parked at the site.
Al-Beroni hospital provides free services to patients with cancer.
In December 2013, terrorists exploded two car bombs at al-Kindi hospital in Aleppo city, causing widespread damages.
