Syrian Expatriate Doctors in Germany are ready to Support the Medical Sector in Syria with Advanced Equipment

Acting Minister of Health Maher Al-Sharaa discussed with 15 doctors from the Syrian community in Germany ways to enhance cooperation in the health field.

The doctors confirmed their readiness to support the medical sector technically with modern and advanced equipment from Germany.

Al-Sharaa stressed the importance of partnership with various Syrian communities and organizations to help enhance health services, implement reconstruction projects and recover the damaged sector.

During a meeting held today, the doctors confirmed their endeavor to support the dilapidated health sector in various specialties, logistically, technically and academically to advance it by establishing partnerships between Syrian and German health facilities, exchanging expertise between doctors of both sides, and training and qualifying medical cadres.

The doctors expressed their intention to communicate with the health directorates in the governorates in this regard. They indicated that they will conduct field tours of hospitals and health centers, to determine their needs and rebuild the integrated health system.
