The Ministry of Health Discusses with a delegation from the World Health Organization and UNICEF plans to restore health care centers

During his meeting today with a delegation from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the Director of Planning and International Cooperation of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Zuhair Karat, discussed plans to renovate Primary Health Care Centres in various regions.

During the meeting, which was held at the ministry in the presence of the director of Primary Health Care at the Ministry, Dr. Razan Tarabishi, the need to use solar energy as a sustainable solution to improve the care environment was discussed.

A list of health centers that will undergo renovation, which will be equipped with a solar energy system, was also identified in order to provide a sustainable energy supply, which contributes to the continuity of the provision of health services on an ongoing basis.‏
