Arrest of one of the criminal leaders responsible for the Tadamon massacre in Damascus 12 years ago

The Head of Security in Damascus Colonel Abdul Rahman Al-Dabbagh said to SANA: After monitoring and following up, we were able to arrest one of the criminal leaders responsible for the Al-Tadamon massacre in Damascus 12 years ago.

He added that following initial investigations with the criminal, we reached several people who had participated in the massacre and we arrested two of them.

Al-Dabbagh said that the three detainees confessed to their involvement in committing massacres in the Al-Tadamon neighborhood, in which more than 500 men and women from our civilians were liquidated without any trial or charge.

He continued: We are working to search for the sites of the massacres committed in coordination with the competent authorities.

The Head of Security in Damascus concluded: We assure our people in Syria that the criminals will not escape punishment and we will work to bring them to justice to receive their just punishment.
