Discussing Resumption of Flights Between Syria and UAE

On The last day of the ICAO Global Forum held in Abo Dabi, the resumption of flights between Syria and Emirates was discussed.

Advisor to the Chairman of the Syrian General Civil Aviation Authority Sameh Arabi, Director General of the UAE Civil Aviation Authority Saif Mohammed Al-Suwaidi and Assistant Director of the Air Navigation Services Sector in the UAE Ahmed Ibrahim Al Jallaf met at the forum.

Arabi told Syria TV: “We discussed with the Emirati side the form of cooperation between the Syrian and Emirati authorities, the exchange of expertise and the reopening of airspace between Syria and the Emirates.

n turn, Chairman of the UAE Civil Aviation Authority Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi confirmed that good news is coming soon regarding the resumption of flights between Damascus Airport and Dubai Airport.

The Syrian delegation also met with the Egyptian Minister of Civil Aviation and the Director of the Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority to reopen the airspace between Syria and Egypt.
