German Embassy delegation inspects the project of rehabilitating Al-Wahda and Al-Mal’ab wells in Douma

A delegation from the German Embassy in Damascus inspected the project of rehabilitating Al-Wahda and Al-Mal’ab wells in Douma city, with the aim of following up on the implementation of the project, ensuring its sustainability, and evaluating its positive impact on the targeted local community.

The delegation was represented by Marcelo Nashiki and David Laboud and was accompanied by the Director General of the Drinking Water Company in Damascus and its countryside Ahmad Darwish, as well as representatives from UNICEF.

The delegation also listened to explanation from the staff about the city’s water situation and ways to enhance joint cooperation to improve this situation.
