Syrian U17 Girls football team to face Palestinian team in West Asia Championship

The Syrian U17 Girls football team will face its Palestinian counterpart tomorrow in its second match in the West Asian Championship, which is being held in Saudi Arabia until the 16th of this month.

The Syrian team has prepared for the match during the past two days, and conducted training sessions that focused on correcting mistakes and enhancing harmony among the players.

The team lost its first match (in the first round) to its Lebanese counterpart by a single goal in their match last Saturday in Group two.

The tournament system stipulates that at the end of the first round, the first and second teams from the two groups qualify for the semi-finals. Group One includes the teams of Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Bahrain.
