President Ahmed Al-Sharaa plans to visit the state of Kuwait

Diplomatic sources revealed to the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Qabas the desire of the Syrian President, Ahmed Al-Shara, to visit the state of Kuwait as soon as possible.

According to the newspaper, President Al-Sharaa expressed this desire during his meeting with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya in Damascus.

The sources confirmed that the state of Kuwait will participate with representation at the highest levels in the emergency Arab summit to be held in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, on February 27, while this event will be proceeded by a ministerial meeting of Arab foreign ministers on February 26.

The summit will discuss the recent developments in Syria and ways to achieve stability in it, in addition to discussing current Arab and regional issues, and at the forefront of these issues will be a unified Arab position rejecting the displacement of Gaza residents.

The sources also revealed that the city of Mecca will host a Gulf ministerial meeting during the coming month of Ramadan, chaired by Kuwait with the participation of Syrian Foreign Minister, Asaad Al-Shaibani, after receiving an official invitation to attend the meeting.
